Every child should have an equal chance in life
Young poeple from the North East have worked with young people from Manchester, Liverpool and Tower Hamlets to develop a manifesto to relieve child poverty. Here is there manifesto:

They had support from Children North East, and funding was provided by the Webb Memorial Trust.

Work has to be a better route out of poverty. Most poor children have a working parent.

Councils have a duty to address child poverty through their services, jobs and contracts.
Everyone can help to tackle child poverty. Every contribution matters.
